2nd Monday Meeting – 10th May – talk ‘From Comb to Jar Honey Preparation’
May 10 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Our regular 2nd Monday meeting will be held on 10th May using Zoom, but the great news is that it may be possible next month to return to live pubs meets. Keep fingers crossed.
In the meantime for our May meeting we will follow the format of recent months, starting the meeting at 7:00pm with the three breakout rooms hosted by Carolyn (Winter Bee school), David and Douglas (Apiary training evenings). These are of particular appeal to those who were involved in those activities though all other members are encouraged to participate by joining any of the groups in what have proved to be extremely useful Q&A discussion chats.
The main meeting follows at 7:30pm with the May 100 Club draw followed by the feature event of the evening when Paul Baines (Chair, Shipston-on-Stour Beekeepers) will talk on “From comb to honey preparation”. This is especially relevant as many of us are now seeing supers on our hives containing lots of honey.
The login details for the meeting are in the Members Area.
Looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible at the meeting.
Whilst writing, and as the swarming season is knocking at our door, a reminder that if anybody is in need of a swarm they can add their details to our “Swarms Wanted” list in the members area of the website.
